Ben Hancock is a personal injury attorney at The King Firm. Ben, who began his legal career at The King Firm, represents clients throughout Georgia. He is licensed to practice in all courts in the state.
He is passionate about representing plaintiffs and protecting their legal rights. After his sister was injured in an auto accident, Ben developed a strong desire to represent injured victims. Additionally, Ben is avid about handling workers’ compensation claims and helping injured workers navigate their claims.
Ben attended the University of Georgia School of Law, graduating cum laude and earning his J.D., in 2022. He received his undergraduate degree in agribusiness from the University of Georgia. Ben also graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, where he served as an ambassador for the college. During his college studies, Ben was selected to be a GE-Reagan Foundation Scholar out of a nationwide pool based on his attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship.

Experience & Personal Life
While in law school, Ben was an editorial board member of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and Vice President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society. Ben also was selected to be a part of the law school’s Negotiation Team. While on the Negotiation Team, Ben was a regional champion in a competition hosted by the ABA. During his final year in law school, Ben served as a law clerk for the Association County Commissioners of Georgia’s legal department.
Ben was born and raised in Irwin County, Georgia. Now, Ben and his wife Heyward live in Tifton with their three children, John, Isaac, and Josie.
